Brandy received her name from her first foster home. It comes from the fact that she's been "branded". She has a crude home tattoo on her stomach. What this little girl has suffered no one really knows. What we do know is that she is a very sweet girl, wanting to attach herself to someone. Her foster home experiences have exposed her to children (toddlers), other dogs, and cats. Her first foster mom says: She played well with other dogs, and did fine with our three cats. She's a dog who wants to be where you are. When I took her to the vet for her health certificate check, she was right by my side. She seems to bond very quickly to her caregiver. Due to the fact that she's been kenneled, she may show some initial exuberance to "freedom". However, her foster parents state that when they open the door to walk, feed, etc. that she is only interested in attention. She doesn't try to bolt past them and run away, or anything like that. She rode very well in the car on the way to the vet office. I don't think it will take her long to adjust to a new environment. She truly seems like a dog who wants to please.
She'll be a devoted companion for some lucky person.
This girl deserves a HOME. She would be best with a stay-at-home or someone with flexible hours.
