Lulu just lost her second home due to Heeler behaviors such as heel-nipping the guests in the home. She needs an adopter who understands the breed. Heelers are not for everyone, but they are so smart and so worth saving. Please help us to keep Lulu from being bounced around. She just needs the right situation, whether it be an adopter willing to put the time and training in, or a farm situation where she has a job. She's a lightweight at 37-40 lbs. She knows Sit and Down. She will stay with you at all times . On walks she sticks by you like a true Heeler. Follows you everywhere all the time! Hates the rain, but loves to play fetch and loves her frisbee. She loves to chew on antlers. She is very affectionate and loves belly rubs. She is super loyal, is 100% housebroken, and rarely barks. She tolerates all handling, being picked up, hugged, etc. She also fetches the ball and brings it back every time! She can be shy in new situations and we hope she's not in the shelter for long, so please only apply if you are ready to adopt right away. She's 17 months old. On her walks she's a perfect lady and does not chase the ducks or geese.
