I'm Carissa, a 2-year-old, 60-pound Dutch Shepherd. I love people and get along with all dogs -- I really enjoy playing with canine friends! I also adore children, and I'm fine with cats, too. I have such a lovely temperament I might even make a good service or emotional support dog. I'm smart and already know a few commands, like fetch and sit. I'm crazy over my ball and I will fetch and bring it back every time! I'm an active girl and love my walks. I'm also completely healthy, heartworm negative, and spayed. Mostly, I'm just a sweetheart who wants to love and be loved. All I need now is my forever family! My foster mom says "on walks Carissa is excited about meeting other dogs, people and children. She loves adventures and ,would make someone a great hiking partner. After a walk, she will nap or chill with a kong filled with treats. The commands she knows are sit, stay, come and down. She is totally housebroken. She rides nicely in a car.
Carissa is very loyal, makes great eye contact and will bond quickly to her new family."
