Scout, 4.5 months Female Jack Russell Terrier / Dachshund  Mix Scout is adopted! She got a wonderful home on an 83 acre farm with two other Jacks and a lot of horses. She is loving it! Scout, formerly adopted as Sweetie is a 4.5 months old pup, was recently returned as she is too much for the family's submissive older dog. Scout like to play rough and the family felt bad for their current dog, who did not want to participate in her antics. The folks at her doggy daycare said she got along fine with the dogs there and she is in a puppy playgroup in her current situation. Scout is tiny in stature but big in personality. She loves to play and play but also loves to be held. She is too tiny for small children and too active for a senior, but would be wonderful for a family with teens or with someone who has terrier experience and is familiar with prey drive and who is willing to give her the ongoing training she will need.
