Hi, I'm Hyacinth, a 7 year old spayed female Maltese looking for a loving home. Her foster mom writes, Hyacinth is a sweet, affectionate girl who is going to make a wonderful companion in her forever home. She loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and has done very well with house training, with very few accidents. I believe she was most likely already house trained.
She has a healthy amount of energy and is quite the little acrobat! She's eager to learn and has already mastered "sit." Even with four other dogs around, she'll sit patiently and wait her turn for treats. She loves to eat, enjoys learning good manners, and is very food motivated. She gets very excited when you tell her she is a good girl.
Hyacinth is naturally protective and will bark appropriately if she feels it's needed, but she's also incredibly loving. She adores cuddling, gives lots of kisses, and loves sleeping snuggled right up against you in bed. She is also comfortable in a crate. She and Simon were rescued together and both will need dentals which the shelter is covering and for which donations are welcome.
