Dog and Cat Rescue groups, please come to our June 8th walk for homeless pets, Paws in the Park 2008. Rescue groups and non-profits can participate for no charge. We'll give you a 10x10 space for your booth and you can bring dogs and/or pictures of your adoptable dogs. We'll be inviting potential adopters to come and talk with you and we'll have a parade of adoptable dogs at 1 PM. Last year's 7th Annual Paws in the Park was a gorgeous day and a great success; we had many walkers and a great day was had by all, while raising funds for our homeless pets. This year, we hope to do the same and have been working hard to get the word out there. Paws in the Park is being promoted in many of the local newspapers, businesses and on the internet.

If you plan on attending this year's Paws in the Park, please don't forget to make a note of it on your website so your adopters and supporters will know where you will be on June 8, 2008.

Important Information:

  • If you are bringing a dog or dogs for the Adoptable Dogs Parade, please send the information about them to paws-rescues@saveadog.org
  • You will have a 10 x 10 space. PLEASE bring an EZ-up tent for shade - you will need it! Bring your own table/booth/chairs, etc; there will be electricity available at different areas of the field this year; (exact locations still being determined)
  • Rescue groups will be prominently placed between Exhibitors and our demonstration rings.
  • The DJ will draw attention to you, and mention rescue groups by name.
  • Bring your adoptable dogs to meet potential adopters; there will be a parade of adoptable dogs.
  • You may sell from your space (sorry food and drinks for human consumption may not be sold).
  • All groups must pre-register by June 8th; early birds who notify us by May 20th will be listed in our program.
  • Set up will start at 8:00 am. There will be NO vehicles allowed on the field.
  • Paws in the Park will end at 3:00 pm.
