Hi Sheryl,
Here are a few photos of our girl.
She's doing very well. We've decided to call her Bailey and she responds to that well.
She is still a bit insecure but is settling in. We moved her crate in to our bedroom
and we've been having her sleep in it at night. That helped with the accidents. She's
not excited about the crate but we're trying to make it more fun by putting her toys
in it and a treat or two.
She hasn't eaten a whole lot yet. We give her a mix of the old and new food and leave
it out for a while before we remove it. She picks at it but hasn't really dug in yet.
I'm sure as she gets more confident and secure she'll eat more.
Yesterday Bailey went to the vet and got a nice grooming and full checkup. She
did very well even when she was getting her nails clipped. Today Susanna took
her to work and she is doing very well with all of her co-workers. Next week
Bailey starts classes with us.
She seems somewhat suspicious of dark haired women as she has growled a little at
a couple of them. We're carrying around treats and having strangers give them to
her especially if she seems afraid.
She's really full of love and affection. She just can't get enough belly rubs.
Thanks so much for helping us adopt her.
Hope all is well with you.
Garrett
