Success Story
|
"I adopted Cole as a year old pup in Oct. 99. He came complete with all the normal traits one
might expect from an extremely active shepherd mix......Yes, he was very mouthy, with a
big chewing habit! Shoes, slippers, sox, pocketbook straps, assorted items of
clothing, tree branches, plants, he loved them all. Cole also arrived fully housebroken, smart (we knew that sheps always are-) and, maybe most important, loving. At night he thought there was nothing better than climbing up on his human's lap to give kisses, even tho Cole is definitely larger than your
average lap dog. Fortunately, my retired Dad lives next door, and, of course, loves dogs.
He worked with Cole each day,and along with my training, it wasn't long at all before
Cole's puppy behavior turned for the better. Hardly any chewing anymore at all! Now, 8 months later,
he is the dog I have always dreamed of owning-- handsome, friendly, loyal and loving!
His foster mom Linda had him for six weeks, and tho she found it hard to adopt him out,
her dominant female and Cole together kind of made the house a battlefield.....anyway, they have
play and visiting rights!
Thanks Save a Dog!"
