I just wanted to leave a little note on how Mandy the Beagle is doing with her family.
After adopting Mandy in 2001 she has been doing great. You can almost call her the queen of the house.
She's made new friends with the puppies in the neighborhood and she is still the cutest and most loving dog.
She enjoys her Summer days sleeping outside in the sun and she loves to roll around in the grass.

Mandy is doing very well. It's taking her some time to adjust to her
new life here with us. I think she has been over-whelmed by the abundance of love,
kindness, good food and the warm bed we've provided. All of which she is obviously not
at all used to having. The attached picture shows her in one of her favorite cool
spots on a hot summer's day.
Sincerely,
Mak Thomas and family

Earlier picture of Mandy when she was just rescued and
still nursing pups.
She is such a sweet, sweet dog and was destined to die
in an overcrowded southern shelter before her rescuers, Linda and Pam from Save a
Dog, went down and brought her up to MA. Read the
story here.
