I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how han is doing. when we first got him home he was pure puppy, and very cuddly. he'd just let me hold him like a baby in my arms. (he still crawls in my lap anytime i sit on the floor, but he's getting too big to pick up and carry like a baby) we decided to rename him Pedro, after the Red Sox star pitcher, and he responded to the name immediately.

He had an itching problem at first, which after a couple of vet visits turned out to be scabies. and he decided bee's looked tasty. so in his first couple of weeks in his new home Pedro got to know his new vet pretty well. now he is about 24 lbs. and as cute as ever. His features have spread out a little, and his coloring has lightened around his face. We think he's the perfect hound dog. we get so much attention when we take him anywhere. we took him home on the airplane with us in July. he'd stick his head out of the carryon and everyone would melt. while he's still in his chewing up everything stage, he is housebroken. and he's learning the simple commands. right now we're working on come. he gets so excited about treats that when he sees me reaching for the snack bowl he alternates between sitting and laying before i have time to even give him a command. Anyway we love him a lot, thanks for choosing us to be his parents.
